A lot of work for just few compass adjusters

There are only eight or nine compass adjusters in the Netherlands, four of them are working at Datema Delfzijl B.V. They correct the deviations of ship compasses. Some of these specialists operate from Delfzijl and Rotterdam. Although the application of compass adjuster seems to be dying from the use of modern navigation equipment, there is still enough work for our collegues.
